Anne Savage Veh is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory endorsement (LPCC-S), a Licensed Social Worker, and a Certified Life Care Planner with more than three decades of experience helping individuals navigate some of the most complex and consequential moments of their lives. She is the founder of ASV Consulting, LLC, based in Toledo, Ohio, where she provides expert vocational consulting and life care planning services to clients across a wide range of legal and clinical settings.
One of the cornerstones of Anne's practice is vocational evaluation in domestic relations and divorce cases. When a marriage ends, courts and attorneys often need a clear, objective picture of what each party is — or could realistically be — earning. Anne steps in to assess an individual's education, work history, skills, and current labor market conditions to project their vocational potential and earning capacity. Whether someone has been out of the workforce for years, is looking to re-enter a field, or has never fully developed their career, Anne provides thorough, well-documented evaluations that help inform fair and equitable outcomes. It's nuanced, meaningful work, and it's among the most frequent and impactful services she provides.
Anne also works extensively with individuals and legal teams involved in personal injury, workers' compensation, and social security disability cases. At the heart of all her work is a straightforward mission: when someone's life has been significantly affected by injury, illness, disability, or major life change, Anne helps determine what's possible going forward — and what that future realistically looks like. That means conducting vocational evaluations, developing comprehensive life care plans, performing labor market research, and providing expert testimony. She brings the same careful, thorough approach to every case, whether she's testifying in a courtroom or sitting down with a client to talk through their options.
Her educational background is rooted in rehabilitation counseling. Anne earned her Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Cincinnati, completed post-graduate studies at Heidelberg College for independent licensure, and became a Certified Life Care Planner through the University of Florida/Intelicus in 2003. That combination of clinical training and specialized certification gives her a uniquely well-rounded perspective — she understands the human side of these situations just as well as she understands the vocational and economic dimensions.
Before launching ASV Consulting, Anne spent years in both mental health and vocational settings. She served as a Program Manager at Unison Behavioral Health Group, supervised emergency services teams at Rescue Mental Health Services, worked as a Vocational Expert for the Social Security Administration, and built her vocational evaluation expertise over 14 years at Vocational Assessments, Inc. That breadth of experience across clinical, administrative, and forensic environments is something she draws on every day.
Anne is also a recognized leader in her profession. She served as President of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) from 2020 to 2023 and has held numerous leadership roles within the organization over the years, including Director of Education, Secretary of the Executive Board, and Chair of the Forensic Section. She was also a founder of the Academy of Forensic Rehabilitation Research and has been a frequent presenter at legal and rehabilitation conferences throughout her career.
For family law attorneys, divorce attorneys, and individuals going through a divorce or separation, as well as attorneys and adjusters managing injury and disability cases, Anne brings a rare combination of professional depth, firsthand experience, and genuine dedication to every case she takes on.
