Anne Savage Veh, MA, LPCC, CLCP

Anne Savage Veh is a certified life care planner based in Toledo, Ohio.  Utilizing her training and education as both a life care planner and mental health professional, she has developed numerous life care plans and other vocational reports that successfully analyze and assess long-term medical, vocational, and quality of life needs.


Most recently, Ms. Veh has focused on life care planning, often working with attorneys to determine the future, long-term costs for maintaining the quality of life for individuals who have suffered a catastrophic injury.  Her specialties lie in the content areas of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and brachial plexus injuries in children as well as the co-morbidity diagnoses of severe mental illness.


Having served as a Vocational Expert in testimony before the Social Security Administration's Bureau of Hearings and Appeals, Ms. Veh is well versed in matters surrounding Social Security Disability as well as Worker Compensation issues – another focus area.  This testimony often focuses on an analysis of an individual's exertional capabilities based on age, education, previous work experience, and a thorough review of medical evidence.


​Ms. Veh holds a Master of Arts Degree in Rehabilitative Counseling from the University of Cincinnati where she also earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Trained as a life care planner from the University of Florida/Intelicus, she was certified in 2003.  Obtaining her independent license from the State of Ohio as both a Professional Clinical Counselor and a Social Worker, Ms. Veh has worked in emergency mental health agencies and oversaw the operation of partial hospitalization programs and group counseling centers.


Active in her field, Ms. Veh currently serves as the Secretary to the Executive Board of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.  She is also a member of the association’s Forensic Section Conference Planning and Strategic Planning Committees and the Executive Board Strategic Planning Committee. She is a past Chairman of the Forensic Section as well.


Other professional leadership positions include serving as the former Vice President for Internal Affairs of the American Rehabilitation Economics Association and Founder and Planning Committee member for the Academy of Forensic Rehabilitation Research.  She is a member of numerous other professional organizations including the American Counseling Association, the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association, the International Academy of Life Care Planners, the National Employment Counseling Association, and the National Career Development Association.
